Thread: ga16 to sr swap wont start!

we had a nx2k car for a donor. we swapped everything in. have everything plugged in, and it wont crank over, and we get no fuel pressure. any common issues i might be missing ?

Going back it could be a grounding issue. Sometimes it that simple.

we checked all the grounds, they are solid. any other ideas?

check ur fuel lines make sure u didnt mix them up.

yup. It may sound dumb but I just swapped GA16 to SR and it wouldnt start. Fuel lines were mixed up :o

he said it does not crank over. what year is the nx and what year harness did you use

Make sure all your grounds are on and tight and all of them are grounded on clean surfaces. Make sure the power wire to your started is good as well.

Does the pump turn on and prime?

Also, I want to verify by "not cranking over" you mean the engine won't turn over at all, not just that it won't start.

no the pump does not prime. the lights come on, and it clicks when attempting to start. it clicks from from the relay box by the battery. and it wont turn over even. it just makes a click.oil light and battery light stay on so im pretty sure its not a ground.
