Well one of the things is that a well run forum costs money and to raise money, you need to have ads, they are a nesseary evil. How they are placed is another thing and the content provided has to make the ads worthwhile.

Site ownership is a two way street. The owners have to give but the users have to put up with what it takes to monitize the site to a degree.

Yes Mike, that i understand, but i would rather have someone who has mad love for the SR , has been there a long time, done assloads of R & D etc. own it and do with it what he must , than some no name dude who no one knows who's out for cash.....

I run web and print media company and in past ran a 50K/month circulation local-area magazine (new Orleans) and have done contract work for car related companies including web marketing.

I personally would have absolutely no problem being on a forum owned by Mike Kojima. You are "THE MAN" to most of us. We all know and understand that if it weren't for you, most of the products on our cars wouldn't exist to the high standards that they do.
