Thread: Need advice on wheel spacers???

I am currently looking to put wheel spacers on my nx2000. I want to use 20-25mm's in the rear and 10 to 15mm's in the front. I want to know if this is ok and will work. I am going to be buy these rims: O.Z. Superturismo GT Bright Silver Paint in a 16inch size and 205/40zr16's.

Can somebody please recommemd what wheel spacers I should buy.

If you use wheel spacers, you almost 100% of the time need to run extended wheel studs. Especially when you're talking about 25mm spacers.

Oh I understand that. The h&r kit I was looking at actually comes with new wheel studs.

They don't have to match, it's entirely up to preference. If they come with the studs, that's even better. Honestly, as long as they're aluminum or some type of metallic material, I don't see the big deal? Obviously wouldn't want to use plastic.

IMO, spacers are spacers. They're generally just aluminum blanks with holes cut in them to match bolt patterns.

I'd say to get the H&R's if they already come with the studs though, sounds like they may be a good deal.

Yes the h&r is the way to go they are hub-centric too for better balance(hub bore matches your car)
See my build thread...I did H&R 15mm on the rear of my nx with no spacer in front.They are even with the front now,so a +25 in the rear and a +10 in the front should work good for you.They will be poking out the same front and rear that way too.

A 10mm spacer is a no go on our cars as far as I'm concerned. 1-6mm is fine. 8mm is pushing it. 15mm on up is fine too. Just no 10mm spacers.

I would do 15mm up front. H&R is great because it comes with studs and has the hub centric ring. If Bluebomber has taken my advice, then his spacers should be just as good as the H&R stuff.

In the rear, I don't think you have as much room to play, but I don't know for sure on the NX2000. What offset are the wheels you plan on buying? If you're going with the spacers just to make them have a good offset, then I can understand. But if you want them to stick out, you might be in trouble running into the fender.
