If I had it, I would keep it forever. That may be a semi-serious collector car in another 10 or 15 years.

I'm just a giant ball of stress though because I'm giving up my totally reliable fun to drive nx for a car i've never driven in EVER.

get ready for understeer galore... things that are a must whiteline rear adjustable sway bar, rear subframe and align and lock bushings, anti-lift castor increase bushings,
and a big brake kit, else u'll be pussy footing and braking miles early.

but the traction and usability in all weather conditions is pretty awesome, its actually more fun to drive in the wet and snow than in the dry.

Damn I love the gti-r,dont get me wrong, but I think I am just in love with my nx.
I know you will miss the egg alot.
Hell,I has z32 for a few years and missed my nx.
I ended up selling the Z and getting another nx.The nx is so much more practical, but the z...well,its a z...nuff said.I wish there was some way I could have kept the Z for a weekend, car show, occasional cruiser.Unfortunately,I needed to keep one or the other for a DD...dammit

So I cay try to find a way to keep the nx somehow.

I'm in the same boat dude - Which is why I'm so torn about it. I love my nx but 320hp is a big deterrant - the wife said we can only have one of the two.

so she's right - I gotta make that decision.

a turbo'd nx will feel quicker and possibly be quicker in a quarter if all hp remains equal. the drivetrain loss in a gti-r is immense, but you get back massive traction and stability in exchange.

the nx is also lighter, since its missing a larger hatch, a transfer case, prop shaft, rear axles, rear diff.

but the gti-r holds its own and is fun in its own right, give it a flick before u turn in and get on the gas fun fun fun
