There are a couple threads out there on these I have only heard positive things. It would be nice to have this thread filled with feed back of actual users of the product though.

My god there is a TON of information on this. SCC, motoIQ, both forums all have information on this. Nissan performance mag as well if you can read the archives. It works great when used with a stock LSD. By itself on an open diff they don't do a whole lot, but it is better than nothing. Worth the money if you have the trans out or diff out for sure.

Hey coach I heard them talking about shiming the phantom grip with shims is it suposed to come with them? From the picture it looks like just the phantom grip, springs, and locking latches are included. Where do I get the shims?

That's something that worried me....I know evnentually they have to eat right through your diff from all that additional friction.

I haven't had any crazy wear issues at all. Not sure where you heard that, but I haven't seen evidence of it on any of the forums or the old mailing list.

I didn't need any shims, followed the phantom grip install instructions and no issues. Shims can be used under the springs I think for increased clamping pressure I believe, but I didn't add any.
