Well it's finally out. About time. Pic Heavy!
So I have been trying to get my motor out so I can get it done before March and now it is finally out. WOOT! If it looks like rust it's not. It's lighting and dirt and crap but it's not rust. lol.

Let the work begin.

Here are some before and current pics.

Yay it's out.

Looks so empty. Simple Green time.

Spec stage 3 clutch.

First I am replacing every gasket and seal I can to get the random leaks fixed. I am looking at a new turbo for it and some other stuff too. It started as just doing the head gasket but I decided to do as much as I can now. I don't have anything else to do. I am gonna pick up some larger injectors for it and a Z32 maf. It's already got upgraded cams in it so. I'll take it from there and see what happens when it's done.

I want to get like another 70 - 80 whp out of it and that will be cool. The T25 on it is in great condition with no shaft play at all and free spin but I just want a bit more. I'm gonna clean up the engine bay and get it painted too. Gonna redo the IC piping and do some front end work cause right now it looks like it has fangs on it from the IC mounting arms.

I'll post more pics up as I go. I think tomorrow I will start tearing it down cause I need to get the head to the shop on Tuesday to have it pressure checked and resurfaced.

Be forewarned, regarding that SPEC clutch. Keep a very close "eye" on it. From what I've seen/heard, they don't like boost applications much at all.

Thanx for the warning. So far I haven't had any issues with it. I've had it on there for a year without any issues yet. (knock on wood) I will keep an eye on it though. Thanx.

im in the process of doing the same thing........but useing an engine thats been in my garage for a few years. got it for a couple beers

im having it hot tanked to 100% clean everything inside and out then painting it silver so it will stay looking funky freash, then replaceing every gasket possible, replaceing IACV since its easier out of the car. installing thermoblock spacers, high comp pistons, and gspec under drive pullies. if i have enough monies a set of cams.....they can come later though.
