Thread: P11 trans into b13???

Alright. The trans is sitting in my engine bay. I am not sure where my "shifter stabilizer rod" bolts up to the car, or where I have to grind to make it fit.

I know the where the gear selecting rod goes that's obvious, but am I missing something for the "stabilizer rod?"

Yeah, you are missing a piece. There is a bracket that bolts onto the side of the engine mount. The stabilizer bar bolts to that.

looks like your trying to use the p11 rear mount bracket, you need to use your b13 one

I did not get a bracket on my p11 trans. I am pretty sure that is my stock one. My car was built in japan so maybe it is different. I hope not.

no your just missing the stabalizer bracket that has the pressed in studs that go in the two holes just above where you stabalizer is sitting in the picture, i didnt see it before sorry. Neways try and find that piece cuz your going to need it.

Sorry to thread jack, but why do you have to grind the bracket? Does it interfere with the selector when going into first and second?

more like 3rd gear with p11 or b15 trannys. you can do the grind way or use spacers on the rear mount where it attaches to the tranny.
