oil pressure switch
I installed a new oil pressure switch today with thread sealant.
But i was curious, does the switch get threaded all the way to end of the threads?
When I was tightening the switch, I started feeling resistance at about halfway down the threads and it felt "tight" about 3/4 down the threads. I thought that stopping there would be ok, since I used thread sealant, and the FSM doesnt list a torque spec for the switch.
Is this okay?
