Weird Noise with FASTBRAKE front brakes
I'm having issues (funny noises) with my front brakes after about 2,500 miles of quiet trouble free service. It is the 11" FASTBRAKE kit w/slotted rotors. This has just started and have not jacked the car up to see what is the problem, I'm trying to find people have the same kit as me for maybe suggestions.
#1 When applying the brakes you can hear the pads and slotted part of the rotor making contact if that make sense. And, rapidly over a short period of time has gotten louder and it seems like I can feel it slightly through the car/pedal.
#2 When stopped or stationary I can press on the brakes and hear noises from the calipers.
#3 The noise started on the passenger side first, but is now starting to show it's head on drivers side?
-So are the calipers dirty and need to be cleaned? Since they don't come with dust boots as stated in the kit.
-Have I installed/ done something wrong and it has been not shown up for 2,500 miles, and is coming to light. Right when I get all the bugs worked out to start taking it to road race/HPDS classes .
