Thread: Fixing my sr16ve tranny with other tranny parts??

I have a sr16ve tranny that has 5th gear popout. I was wondering if there was anyway i could use parts from a non lsd u14 5speed tranny (guy thought it was a sr16 except for the simple fact it did have a lsd hump!) Or form my old b13 sr 5speed?

Now if so what is involved?

Yes, you can swap in your 5th gear from your old b13 tranny

What about the non lsd tranny? Its a newer tranny and very clean, so the parts will be less worn opposed to my original sr20de tranny, which has 180,000 on it.
