I've got a BMC enclosed filter, keeps all hot engine bay temps out and is great in cold weather. But I think the actual filter part is too small for our engine. I'd love something like that Simota^.

Here's a pic...

I have tubing going through the wing and out of the fog light hole.

I have both sitting on my shelf... the apexi power intake, and a pop charger... this is pretty interesting. If I go to the dyno I will switch them out one after another. Might not be for a while.

i think the air filter is one of the most overlooked mod.

I know this is a old thread, but did XxToKeSxX ever do his back to back dyno test?? I always liked those apexi's with the funnel in the middle, but I don't think anything will net better results then the HKS mega filter, the one we see on EVERY japanese front clip. I mean I know it really doesn't filter the small stuff and so I say you cant go wrong with the JWT POP charger, BPI intake, or even the 3" BLOX w/ velocity stack......basically anything 3" with a velocity stack kicks azz!!

I personally run the BPI and freaking LOVE IT, oh btw it uses a K&N, which I am pretty sure JWT does too, but in there color.

In conclusion just get a BPI, JWT, or BLOX in a 3" and you should be good to go! I know this has been said about a million times, but now they're will be something for newbies to fid when searching......

Holy old thread.
Just for the record, I'm 99% sure S&B makes the JWT filters (not K&N). You can buy them directly from S&B for less than JWT sells as well.
