Radiator Fan Problem
Ok when i first got my car the person i got it from had the reley rigged up like this. this caused the fans to stay on all the time until the car was turned off

It has been working fine for years now. I got some slim fans that i installed and they have been working fine also. Just a week for so ago, the fans stopped working. So i wired them up stright to the battery and they work fine. So i wired them back up the the fan harness and they stop working.

If i wire them up to the reley like this

They but stay on all the time even while the car is off.

Calum and I spent a weekend fixing a hack job like that on his b12. Id say make it right. Let the ECU control the fans like its supposed to. Then install a toggle into the cabin to let you selectively turn them on when you want. well worth the time. I know in FL it never gets all that cold, but with fans on all the time, one cool <60* day the car will take forever to really warm up if at all.
