classic on 16's
well i want b14 stocks but my dad GAVE (FREE) me some 16 inch wheels. they have 205/40/16 tires on them. now but one is bad. what size tire should i use, a 205/40/16, or 205/45/16? i think i'd just put another 40 one there and when they all run out get the 45's but what would be better. the offset is 35 or 38 i think.

ps. i did search, and yes i know b14's with some nice sticky 205/50/15's would be so much better, had those on my first classic. but this is what i got to work with.

205/45/16 is your best bet for tire size. If you are tight on funds go get the one 205/40/16 and ride it out until you can get the 45s. I'm one of the few that prefer 16 inchers and have found some decent tire choices for that size. Light rims make a big difference. Finding a decent set of stock B14 rims seems to be getting harder to find these days. If you get a chance check out the Yokohama S-Drive in the 205/45/16. Good tire, good price, great reviews from Tire Rack.

i gotta measure the tires on the there are square on the wheel so i'm thinkin 7.5 this is just based off how my b14's with 205's sank inward a lil bit at the rim.

just cheacked it's et 35 and 7 inch wide. the look like they will be almost flush with fenders.

205/45/16 is what my parents ran on their 16x7.5 wheels. Looks good, and there are a good bit of tires available in that size.

here's my b13 on 205/45/16, the rubber is very close to the struts tho on the back, and it rubs on big bumps, but not a bad ride
