My highport DE is eating injectors
like freakin' popcorn.

I had an injector die on me two weeks ago and I've now put 3 in and they all come out the same, mangled tip and tiny o-ring. Don't know why this is. For reference its a '92 with the original engine and I replaced this same injector last summer when the original one fried, tested for resistance and it was dead. All injectors were tested before install and 2/3 were with new o-rings. It'll run great for a couple days then go to start one morning and runs like crap, dumping gas into the cylinder. For reference its cyl #2 every time.

Images were kept big for detail.

with the mangled o-ring

o-ring off, the red circled part IS NOT supposed to be crushed like that.

IDEAS/THOUGHTS APPRECIATED GREATLY.

No good man. And yours is supposed to be the good one. =p

Is it always #2? Could it be possible you are getting some valve sealing issues or something which could cause damage to the injector?
