Thread: Log manifold

Ive been thinking a lot lately about top mounting my gt2871r because of clearance issues. The main issue is pulling the turbo off and unbolting oil feed and coolant return lines off, ac line is in the way and o2 is really close to it, and having to re lie on someone to pulling off the turbo for me when issues come up. I current have a gtir exhaust manifold for my gt28, and I know that gtir flow better then log style mani. But is it a really big difference?? Clocking is not a problem and custom j pipe wont be hard to make and also a t3 will of course be welded to the gt28. Has anyone ever mounted a t2 on a t3 log manifold??
