Thread: 2.0 & 1.6 classic racks the same?

Was wondering if the steering racks for a B13 are the same whether 2.0 or 1.6 ?

mine started out as a 1.6 but has the SR in it, i can't tell the difference in the 2 racks.

i just found mine was leaking right under the actual gear & i wanted to change it out. i found an SR rack for $102 at the junkyard.....tia

I would think it would be fine to use. You can even fit a GA16DE manual rack in an SE-R with no problems (just need to use the manual rack steering joint for that one), so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use the power rack.

Yup they are the same,i have a couple friends that are using the sentra E manuel rack from a 1.6 on ther b13 se-r's.I use to have it on my car too.
