If I was to do this, I would more than likley lay the old mm on a flat peice of wood, and drive a nail/screw/whatever from the underside so it sticks up through the stock bolt hole sleeve position. Then I would trace around said motor mount with perm. marker. Then, once I remove the old rubber, I know exactly where the bolt sleeve goes once I put the mm back onto the wood and there's no room for error.

then tape like others mentioned so it doesn't stick to the wood!

It was really easy. I have pressed mounts in before on a different car....it sucks.

damn sounds awsome, i love projects like this

Ya, just fill in all the gaps and smooth everything out with a putty knife or something similar. Piece o cake.

I have a Prothane for the rear subframe (not pressed in yet) since this is the most damaged one

When I filled in the dogbone, I removed all the rubber around the top metal sleeve. I used an index card to hold the sleeve in the correct position, and then filled it in.

After reading your write-up, I was like screw that. Filling them in is so much easier.

If it bothers me, and it's within my power to change it, it won't last long

Suspension would be the next thing I would change...but I don't have the money unfortunately. Maybe I'll stumble upon a used set of progress coil-overs.

Many have, he wasn't proclaiming anything new, just that he did it and it worked well.

Which is why I did a thread about using construction adhesive.
