Sooo if you bought the auto rad, could you use the auto trans cooler as an oil cooler by hooking up oil lines?

Well yes possibly, but is the Oil at a much higher pressure than the Transmission fluid cooling loop?
Oil cold can hit high numbers, 50 - 80 or more psi

Also this was regarded as a poor auto trans cooler for towing, so if you are doing any heavy duty engine stuff that requires a cooler and you are going to the trouble to get the adapter and line, why not add a real cooler ?

Its an extra $100. but thats what I was going to do anyway.

The Auto transmission kit is around $40 from same site, the engine Oil adapter and parts are expensive.
