Hmm, I think the manual one is the 5/8 core one. I think the auto radiators are the 1'' cores.

Therealnighthog
so is this a dual core or a single with deep fins ?
What are the outlet sizes ?

Thanks Ian

Its a single that is extra thick. It was designed to accomadate the extra heat that comes from cooling the auto tranny. The outlets are the same as the NX/SE-R

So it fits a B13 no prob.

Guessing B14s shouldn't have any issues either?

IIRC the rads are the same. I am currently using a 1" thick all-alum radiator. The hoses are 1 3/8" that are clamped over the 1.6L hose-ends. I thought for sure this was going to leak when I tried it out, but it hasn't. It has sealed amazingly well. So far, no overheating issues with the old setup. I'll have the car running with the new manifold soon and I will see how that does.

The 1" radiator made a big difference.

Here is what i found out through searching through the junkyard. Almost any g20, and most sentras ga16 or sr20 with automatics have the built in trans cooler and are the same as the stock 2 row nx radiator. If you have a mannual car you most likely have the paper thin 1 row.

If you want the correct inlet and outlet you will want to buy one for the 2l engine. Or you can source a used one at the junkyard for cheap.

There isnt a difference in height between the p10, nx, sentra b13 and b14. the clasics and some of the newer cars radiators mount under the radiator support only becuse their radiator support is taller, they still use the same radiator as the cars where it mounts behind the radiator support. they physical dimensions are the same only the thickness and inlet and outlet sizes change depending on the engine and trans combo.

i think the main theme here is that we need a koyo style radiator but for less money

no trans cooler fittings, the right inlet/outlet size and shiney aluminum end tanks and maybe even a set of pusher fans to come with it.

it's to bad the only way this could ever be accomplished is with a chinese knock off.....
