Thread: axle is stuck in trans..

The driver side axle is a Nissan axle, so get it rebuilt and make sure they give you back the same one.

Ive not really heard of that happening to the pass. side. try banging on the end with an extension

i've seen a few rebuild threads.. might attempt it myself..

Ya that plate is important. Go figure. I skipped putting it in once because I accidentally put the flywheel on without it. Not good. It caused the pp to hit the bell housing and wear a nice groove in it. Made a lot of knocking noises hahahaha. Live and learn. I've taken those things out of other cars before without issue, but the SR needs that plate.

your absolutely right, i notice some wear on my pp also.. none inside the bell tho..

i havent heard any noises tho..

you can see the wear in this pic infact.. its just discolored i think i got it in time.. im sure after a while it could of wore down alot

im really afraid of my cheap axles from rock auto now just to get this swap over and done with soon. im afraid of getting them back out when i put them in.

when it comes to cheap parts... be afraid.. be very afraid.. it sux learning the hard way trust me
