I took my knuckles and bearings into a dealership and had them press them in. It took maybe 20 minutes and they did it for free (my father worked there at the time). The next time I had to do them, I called up the local dealership and asked how much they'd charge to do the same thing, and mentioned I could get a Harbor Freight 12-ton "A" frame press for $160. He said it'd be cheaper to buy the press. I'm not sure if he just didn't want to deal with it, or if he really thought it would be cheaper.

The press has come in very handy a couple of times now.

I like having a press.

I might look into that haha. I actually wanted to build one but I had no idea you could get them for that price. Building would probably be almost that much anyways!

I looked at your thread Vadim, and I know I told you already but you shouldn't have to remove the ball race from the new bearing to get it into the knuckle

Just try to find an ideally sized object to press from the outer race only!!

Yup you shouldn't have to remove the ball bearings from the brace. I did it so that they wouldn't break
