RR DE into B13 - use RR intake manifold?
I did some searching a couple weeks back regarding the RR into a B13 (or early B14); and a couple people have done it. It doesn't look very difficult, the question I have is regarding the use of the RR intake manifold or just get a "standard" lowport intake manifold.
I have most of the extra emissions crap off of it so far, but the normal (to me) AAC and IACV don't exist on the RR. There are two other sensors that I assume are these, but they are shaped different (and in odd locations in one case). I have most of the RR harness, so I'm going to download the FSM for a P11/B15 and research these sensors.
I'm hoping I can just rewire the plugs and the B13 wiring harness will plug in and the ecu will operate them. That seems like the easiest method. Method 2 would be to get a lowport manifold and just swap that on - sounds like more of a PITA if I can just rewire 8 wires.
Thoughts or direction?
