But the lights have nipples on them that make it difficult to apply films. I painted my lights and cleared them and they were fine for over a year.

The EDM lights have no nipples

Man you gonna undo the Golf look, huh.
Thats cool...they are your to do as you wish.
I think they look great now,and the yellow film will dim out the light.
Everything gained(being able to see) will be lost.

I was actually thinking about doing this to my b13... yeah, I can see those little nipples getting in the way.

Don't buy the spray paint that stuff is horrible use the plastic tint type so when you get tired of the new color (and you will) you can peel it off and you also have a bigger color selection.

DEFINITELY not true. Lamin-X does nothing to narrow the depth of field for whatever lighting you have. That is a hoax. The tint is not like your 5% limo tint you use on a window.

Go for the Lamin-x. The paint will fade and get cloudy over time. I've used both. A bonus point to the Lamin-x for adding protection to those expensive euro headlights. Also, the Lamin-x can easily be undone.
