I meet these people at the Pri show in florida. We talked about what happend and he told me he can do the job with no issues and had the proper equipment to do so. I sent them a prototype that fit the bumper and 1 that the previous guy made. He told me the carbon piece the first shop made was junk and not repairable. Better off making a new piece. A few weeks later he produced the new product.
As you can see in the pics the quality is much greater than the previous pieces. My intention is to give the people a nice piece that fits very well on the bumper. That is why I didnt want the other guys crap.
I Still need to fit this to a bumper. Unfortunately for me my bumper is still at the previous guy and I cant get a hold of him. So I might be out a bumper. Jimi is bringing his down to fit the final piece. If we like it than I will order 15 pieces. The previous guy still has our money also. I am working on getting reimburse from him(not sure that will happen any time soon). I have invested my personal money to make all this happen to get a product out for you the people on the forum.
Once again I apologize and I hope I can make this right in the next few weeks. I have something else in the works for you guys that have been patient
I'm glad to know all that Jimi has kept us in on so far and am greatful that you came through by finding another shop. Might I suggest if you know where the other shop is that you file a report against them with the local law enforcement to get all that is rightfully yours back. They promised you a service and have not held up the end of their bargain, so you deserve your $$$ and Bumper back to say the least. Once the money was invested to get this product, I kind of wrote it off but am happy to see the tremendous effort to get the community their product.
I agree, the new product is alot cleaner than it's predecessor. I'm in for the long hall but if you need any help feel free to let me know. I have a CF contact here in WPB as well.
