it obviously wont do anything because jim is doing all the updating. I spoke to john before and seems like a nice guy but very busy.

Jim is a nice guy and the guys here appreciate what he is doing even though its not his job. As far him shipping the mold and 4 lips. Bad move. He should have informed the guys before he made that decision. So basicly money for lips, then to supercowboy, then to Lip maker, then to unknown?? Hopefully he is true to his word, and everything goes as he plans it.

Yeah man he seemed cool but def a very busy guy. I agree with you tho posting may keep the hope up but Supercowboy hasn't been logged in recently so he most likely won't see it or update the post. I have he asked him to personally update you guy a few times.



Thanks bro I do my best to not piss off John (Supercowboy) but keep pressing him for updates at the same time. I am not really worried about the money honestly I am sure no matter what happens everyone will either get the money back or the lips. Right now all we can do is wait.

I'll tell you what though, honestly this waiting and decision making is getting out of hand. I'm sorry to say but the fact that a "CF GB" came, started, happened and is on the vurge of being over is really a buzz kill. I'm almost ready to just say "F" it and pull out.

What lip was used to mock up this lip for the 4 Fog Bumper?

I don't think anyone used an off the shelf lip to mock this up. When I went to Supercowboys work to give him money he showed me the fiberglass one. As far as I know these are completely custom fabricated and not a mock up of another lip. I hope that answers your question man if not you would have to get in touch with Supercowboy himself, which if you haven't noticed isn't the easiest thing to do.

thats what Im thinking. Im about 3 weeks away from getting my trunk and it was started like a month and a half ago.

^As I look at this lip, it reminds me of this one, but with more body to it. I think this is some kind of tsuru lip. Forum member vvl powr knows the name of it.

It looks similar but if you look at this pic you can see that the lip actually doesn't reduce ground clearance much. Basically the lip comes up to the bottom of the fogs instead of hanging underneath the bumper.
