I'm pretty sure the LSDs between trannies are the same.

I think only Quaife still sells entire LSDs.

A B15 LSD and a P11 LSD tranny are 70 series gear boxes. So you know the answer is yes.

I got a Nismo LSD for sale that fits the B15 tranny. A 91-97 stock b13-B14 LSD should also fit the B15-P11 gear box.

Yep

All LSD differentials use the same bearings, speed gear, and ring gear bolt pattern. So any of them can replace each other. Just use the ring gear from the P11 and you are golden.

yeah i found out while rebuilding my box that the ring gear on the diff is slightly different angle on the teeth

Take the whole differential... Bearings, speedgear, etc out of b13... Take off Ring gear. Put on ring gear from P11 and drop it right in. Well "right in" with case apart and gear stacks out of course.

There shouldn't be any shiming adjustment required since the shiming is only done for case tolerances and not differential tolerances. According to what I've read in the FSM and experienced first hand.

I am curious, but is the LSD on the B13 trans really going to help much? Most higher mileage LSDs don't seem to have any grip left in them. I know changing from my b14 lsd to a sr16 box the sr16 had a ton more grip from the lsd.

Likewise, the lsd in my P11 tranny rocks!

My b14 trans is still pretty good, but the one out of my 19x,xxx mile b13 trans was shot when it went. I'm planning on a quaife and a new trans once this b14 trans gives out. I don't see much point in swapping. If that Nismo is a helical, I'd rock that.
