Wow listen to this guys.
I take the car to Firestone to get them to replace the fan. I had removed the blown 30A fuse before coming. They look at the car for a few minutes and:
"You have an electrical short, it will take 2 hours of diagnosis to find out where it is. There is no power going to your radiator fan. It may take more than 2 hours, it is $90/hr plus parts" During this "diagnosis" he unplugged the condenser fan that was stuck and was blowing the fuse.
Me: "Here" *I plug the fuse back in and the fan cuts on* "Thanks I'll leave now."
Wow, ****ing morons. I specifically told them "I need this fan replaced." I pointed at the condenser fan and told them exactly what I needed them to do. I work a million hours a week and I do not like messing with this kind of crap. I make plenty of money to pay someone to replace it and that idiot tech tries to spot a sucker.
Anyways the car isn't overheating now that the condenser fan is unplugged. Retards.
