JDM AAC compatible with US ECU??
Hey guys just wondering if the JDM AAC is compatible with the USDM computer. It is a different style than the US one, but they have similar resistance.

Thanks, I'm trying to troubleshoot a bad idle, any help is appreciated!

Also, there is a slight difference with the AAC/FICV mounting plate so the same question there. I'll post pics in a couple minutes...

US

JDM

US Vs JDM (actually other way around) mounting plate comparison

They are compatible but I have not had success with the ones ive tried to use...
The electronics are the same though.. Normally we swap them out for the USDM one (improved revision with the spring inside). I do not think that you swap IACV components (FICD or AAC units) between the JDM & USDM base units.

Thanks for the help. I tried out my JDM AAC and the JDM base plate and it worked, but still didn't fix the idle.
