Basically, I'm trying to see if it's rpm or velocity associated. I'm leaning toward velocity, but these are quite the surprising cars sometimes


It only happens in 5th gear. They start to function again after the RPM drops below 4800rpm, that I can recall.

The car is a 98 SE-R. I haven't replaced the VSS yet, though I guess I could. It could be likely that the VSS is a little out of tolerance, as I noticed the faster I go, the more off the speed and RPM are.
