Its a mofo...I did it last week.
I found that it has to be on just right(it is teardrop shaped)
Spray it with windex,or soapy water first.Get it situated,then snug up the pass side.That will help keep it in the right vicinity.
You do need to squeeze it or pry on it to get the bushing seated in the groove or it will never go on.I used a prypar and channel lock pliers.
Then just keep trying to get that top bolt started on the drivers side.I fought it for a while,was about to give up....I flipped the bracket over and it went on first try.
Once you get the top one started,then start the lower one before tightening the top bolt.
It is not fun,but I have done it 3 times,and it will work....Patience,Daniel-Son
