I think like Swiss mentioned getting the OEM back up and running might be the best solution.

My friend is offering me a Spec-V exhaust for free. Could it be worth it? I would expect it to be a bit better then the SR20DE stock one because the Spec-V one is designed for 2.5L over 2.0L..

You might lose some low end torque. That's the only problem I can forsee.

I can also vouch for the Greddy SP. The B14 im getting has the greddy SP cat-back installed and man.... When I saw that muffler I was all "OMG this thing is going to be so damn loud" and when the owner turned it on..... Has to be the quietest aftermarket ever. I will be adding the SSAC header and some S4's so I wonder how loud its going to get.

I wonder if the stocker for the B14 would have the same problem...

Interesting , the only problem is, it wouldn't pass visual inspection. Friend got a ticket for "illegal muffler" and he has a Greddy too

Has anyone dealt with this?
