The Greddy on my 200sx was blown out so it was really loud and annoying. I bought a flange and had an exhaust shop make a new axle-back section with the stock muffler. I really like it. It's silent (or close enough) and I could hardly even tell the difference in power. It bolts right up to the Greddy mid-pipe so I can switch it out with the Greddy muffler if I want.

When it was loud I hardly ever got on the throttle anyway. It was so loud it was embarrassing. Now that it's quiet I can drive how I want without drawing a lot of attention.

The Greddy is 60mm/2.37"

Well just got back from another muffler shop. The one I should have gone to in the first place.Lesson learned I guess any way the car sounds 150% better. They had to redo the bend around the gas tank and the one over the rear arms.

I run a 3" exhaust on my turbo car. I had a 22" bullet muffler as a resonator and a 14" magnaflow center in/out oval muffler and it was too loud for my tastes. I switched to a new 3" exhaust with a borla offset in/center out muffler and even with NO resonator its way way way quieter now. There is no drone on the highway anymore either which is a great bonus.

I had a Greddy SP on the the old B14 and it sounded bad ass! Nice growl with no annoying, raspy Honda sound. Granted it was a GA It did get quite louder though, once I added the hotshot header (had to remove the CAT )

why is your mounted like that

not sure why everyone says the greddy sp is loud, mine is just as quiet as stock, but i still have stock manifold and stock piping.

Mine is messed up. The core separated and blew out the sound deadening material.

Wait what exactly happened to the stock muffler? Did they just attach the stock muffler's pipe to the exhaust or did they do something else?

I wanna be unique!

Haha because I was planning to hide the muffler all the way, but then it wouldn't quite hide all the way because the cat back pipe wouldn't go up any higher.

I knew someone would ask, so thats why I took this picture of it normal, and the turbo mufflers with the offset have a problem with the fitting
