Good idea but I can tell you now you will have a bit of an exhaust leak (a live-able leak but still a leak). CNC milled cut outs are the only ones that dont leak to my knowledge.

yeah i was going to use 2.5" SS gatevalves from work but i forgot about them and now i dont work there anymore :-(

i dont think the TB would leak much, just beef the spring up

Ive seen someone use a TB before also and it was noted that the plate is copper which melts at a much lower temp.. so be careful. Could always paint it with a high temp paint.

Digitek made a cut out with a SR throttle body and hooked it to a cable inside the cabin of the car and would just pull it and it would open. Just go to sr20forum, advance search, type in his username, find his sig, he has his own website, and look for his members ride thread.

Very interesting but crazy expensive... and looks too ricey, just like any other one on the market

I would rather keep my 2.5 inch Stromung and just get a cutout on a 3 inch downpipe for when I finally go turbo.

Agreed... I think a regular cut out is a better solution... its much cheaper.
