Vacuum routing with EGR removed
Hi all, I'm new to this forum and was hoping someone could clarify the vacuum rerouting instructions for EGR removal in the how-to section.
...How-to article that I'm referring to
http://www.sr20-forum.com/forced-induction-turbo/250-rerouting-vacuum-hoses-jdm-intake-manifold-turbo.html
I was wondering what the point is of having the 'C' male to male fitting in the third diagram.
The way it is diagramed out there it looks like the fuel pressure regualtor is supposed to be T'ed into the air duct, intake manifold and EGR solenoid? I can't understand why this is.
It seems to me that you'd want the fuel pressure regulator connected directly to the intake manifold. Then have the air duct line go to the EGR solenoid. So instead of having the 'C' male to male connector you should leave the two systems seperate.
