Also did you calculate a new size pulley for the alternator since its on the smaller crank pulley to keep the charging system up? I am in the process of doing that then illl make one on the lathe....
im sure it would effect balance a tiny bit on stock internals, but mine has been rebuilt... so its been rebalanced. it does have an effect on engine vibrations, but i also have nismo motor mounts, and a jgy flywheel.... and its not a street car, so im not that worried about it.
also, ive never had a charging system problem, and ive never taken the time to figure out the effects on it, but if im thinking about this the right way, it would cause the alternator to spin faster [overdriven], leaving the voltage regulator to do its job. but... the only electrical load i ever have is the engine control and dash/gauges... i rarely have a night race, so the headlights arent ever on, and theres no radio or anything like that.
