I am going to still try and put an electric pump somewhere.....

I'm not too worried about that, because it's a big turbo car. I've had power steering leak issues before and actually drove the car once with almost no fluid. Didn't really bother me, other than the belt squeal.

Whats wrong with just swapping in a sentra e manual rack? To keep things simple.

^If you do stuff like autocross your car is gonna end up being slower. There is still a good deal more work to turn the wheel

The ep3 civic so has electric powersteering also. Probably a cheaper alternative than the s2k.

Why would you end up slower? I drove my civic and crx and they where both rack and pinion systems they didn't bother me.

i autocross with a manual rack. its the greatest thing ever. the extra turns is not a problem, as i rarely hit the steering locks.

toe and camber settings are where you make up for it.

What's wrong with keeping the rack that's already in it? That's about as simple as it gets...

Autocross schmotocross Seriously, I won't autox the car. Full out road course or dragstrip, maybe. Other than that, daily.

I've been looking around and think I am thinking an electric pump mounted anywhere would do the trick on a switch and then I can see both worlds... I am still at a toss up over a nice standard racing rack because this is my 4th car not daily driver (thanks to cali cops). I am just getting things set up for road courses and drag if someone is worth it...
se-riousclassic going cheaper is not always better... thats why honda civics always break lol cheap owners

I am also still going to calculate the new alt pulley size to keep the stock charging amps and ill let you guys know...

Is there a site anywhere where I can look into road course racing with my B14, get some rules, safety features needed, things like that???
