Welcome.
Unlikely that your odometer (K's) have been wiped.
Repco, Bursons, Autobarn etc should have listings for your battery.
If your N14 is anything like the B13 NX/NX-R, and it should be the same, then the Century part number is: NS40ZL
Before you replace the battery you'd better find out what killed it and if it is actually dead, or if something else has gone wrong. No point in sticking a new battery in there for it to suffer the same short and serious fate.
If you have a multi-meter, check the battery, and you're probably better to de-wire what you've done.
If the battery voltage is still good (12V) then you know you've blown a fuse or done electrical damage somewhere else.
Try to jump start after you've de-wired everything if the car if the battery voltage is still reasonable (eg 10+ Volts).
If no joy, then check the fuses, but unless you have a battery load tester you can't rule out the possibility of having done damage to the battery.
When you do get it running, check the battery for 13.5->14V to make sure your alternator is still Ok.
Good luck.

New = don't even go there
Wreckers = win

Sounds like you ideally need an alternator with a higher output.

I did a few on my old UK spec B13 and N14's which were really easy, but here with them being AU spec you have the second thermo fan and the A/C compressor to contend with. If you've got an aftermarket header then it's even harder.
With patience you'll get it out of either the top or bottom of the engine bay.
One of the biggest pains is to get to the 12mm or 14mm nut on the end of the alt pivot bolt (coolant bottle side). I use an offset ring spanner but even that only just squeezes in between the alt belt and the side of the engine bay and it's pretty hard to see.
