ya but that bolt wont go in even with the bracket completely off lol

The spacer has bolt holes for the trans housing bolts, so even if you "rig" it on there, all the bolts have to come off anyway.

I was able to fit it on no problem with the flywheel in place (did it both on an auto and a 5 speed, almost forgot on either) took a bit of fandagling, but it eventually did fit. but really, for the 5 bolts it is to take off, just take the flywheel off.

I thought i was the only one, with my p11. That same bolt didn't want to screw in at all. I took a 12x1.75 metric tap and re-taped it, worked like a charm. And remember to measure the bolt with the tap so to don't over tap it.

oh dude your the man... thanks for the tap size.. now i can call around to find one i wonder what caused our bolt holes to mess up like that.. i dont know about yours but when i took that bolt out the 2 other engine swaps.. it was fine.. super easy.. went back in easy.. this time it just wasnt havin it.. anyways as soon as i find some time im gonna yank the trans an crap get that hole tapped and that engine / trans plate in too.. god only knows when i'll get my header back from bein ported so not like the cars goin any where anyways lol

Don't forget the 6 holding the Pressure plate on the flywheel too!

Are you doing this on a lift or with the car on the floor?

If you have a tranny jack or floor jack, and a block of wood.

Use that to get the holes lined up.
