UR Alt. Pulley
Hey guys, I installed a UR alt pulley yesterday and I notice when I tighten the nut the copper will start spinning inside the alt. The pulley is super hard to turn after this. I am thinking maybe I am missing a washer or spacer of some sort. I just have the nut right now. Are you guys running anything else?

I had an OBX alt pulley that got eaten up cause it got loose and started wobbling on the alt. USE AN IMPACT GUN. What do you mean its really hard to turn? it should spin freely after its tightened down. Maybe your alternator seized on you?

Where did you get your UR alt pulley?

I got it from Fkinsikser. This is a 10 sec pulley were are talking about here. Serious buisness. lol. Anyways I have an impact gun.

Here is the problem. With no pulley I can spin the alt easily. If I put the UR pulley on and tighten it down, it get super hard to turn the alt. I can barely turn it. I think maybe i need a washer between the pulley and the alt, but I don't know wtf is the deal.

You can see the difference here.

The stock one has liek a dish to fit around and the UR is pretty flat. It sticks out farther that the stock one and its hitting the alt when i tighten it. Sucks.

That's the 1st Gen UR alternator pulley. Cool. I have one of those, but I like my Gen2 design better.
