Thread: My Build Need Help

ok guys im doing this build and i need to know what you all think about it. would anyone know what kinda power i will be making with this set up. i like everything i have in this build only thing im scard of is the RODS i dont know if they will hold up to what i am looking to make. im trying to make 450-500whp what you guys think my setup will hold MAX power?

ARP Main Studs for SR20
Oil Pump, S13 SR20
Clean and R/R Oil Ports
Oil Groove Machining, SR20
Resize Line Bore
Check, Polish, Balance Crank
Bore & Hone w/ Torque Plate
Resurface Block & Oil Pump
Assemble Short Block, Provide Spec Sheet

eagle rods have been known to go well into the 700whp range with no problems.

I would ditch the arp main studs and go with some gtir main bolts. People have had problems using the studs as it was causing block warpage on the main bearings. The gtir main bolts are what i used on my build and they are awesome. They are supposed to be alot stronger than the stock main bolts and they are cheap.

Other than that your build looks good. Use a good headgasket like a cosworth or mazworx and a set of head studs and i recommend the Golden eagle

so you think ill be able to hit 500-550 with the build with the right surounding mods and tuning? or would u say 450-500

id say yes as long as the tuning is good. The supporting mods are there.
