Although, no it would not be the first, nor probably the last car repair to be financed for a short time.

I don't see as I have much choice right at the moment. I did more than enough "delayed gratification" with the timeframe on my Classic restoration. Now, I simply want to drive and enjoy the damn car.



Bada-bing. I found those same threads while reSearching my tranny/clutch options.

Andreas swears by it, that's enough for me. Further, Mike did something to the same bracket on my vehicle, enlarged the hole pattern around the bolts to more of a "slot" so he could move the OEM bracket. However, he took one look at the picture of the AMTSB and said "that's how it should be done."

So I am sending payment in advance to get on the list for the next batch he builds.

Actually, I did get the stage 2 from greg for my VE From the discussions I've had with charles and a few other members on the forums, it seems that this is a perfectly acceptable choice for a VE, as they don't produce much torque. We'll see how it holds up to my abuse over the next few years.
