hex head size in head

what size are the hex bolts in the head? I'm at work and wanted to bring the right size home with me to pull the head.

10mm. use a quality 3inch extention or the end will twist off inside the 10mm allen socket end and you will have a great time trying to get it out

10mm for the head bolts? I thought they were bigger than that. The outer ones are 10mm socket, but the actual head bolts?

it's a 10mm allen/hex bolt, which is much stronger than a std 10mm bolt

Haha, gotcha. I never knew the size, I just grabbed my set and found the one that fit and used it. Never caught the size I used or remembered it. My bad.
