Thread: Ga16 swap

HAs anyone recently done a GA to SR swap that still might have the GA trans 5speed laying around. i need 1 asap. any help is appreciated

If you told me that 2 weeks ago I would have been able to give you the 5 spd tranny I had from an old 200sx with a GA in it. The car is scrapped now, but goodluck finding one, it shouldnt be too hard all the old GA's are getting scrapped or sold nowadays. Check your local junkyard

Yeah the G20s (I think) had them. Go to your local junkyard and ask them if they have a 5 speed tranny for a Sentra or G20 for whatever year your looking for.

umm g20's have sr20's and sr trannys wont fit on ga engines.. altho they're a dime a dozen an easy to find in most junk yards in b13s an b14s

Where are you ?? I have a good '96 GA 5 speed trans. Been trying to sell it for a while ... $200 shipped ... or $150 pickup ....
