Thread: extended wheel studs?

I was wondering what extended wheel studs people had I have heard different things about wheel studs from different cars fitting I have nismo studs and I'm not too happy with them I have already broke 2 trying to get my wheels off and they're almost brand new

I have Nismo Wheel Studs on the back of my SER for the past 12 years or so with no problem.

yea, past 5 years with Nismo 60mm on my Track Sentra , Brothers Track 240SX and never had any issues ...

I feel the people wha are breaking them are doing something wrong, like over torquing them or something.

Would you recommend to others a stud that can break easily when over torquing (or what ever monkey move it is that causes them to break) over studs built strong enough to withstand the sort of abuse they could see in less than capable hands? What is appealing about the Nismo studs? Is it just their price advantage? (The ARPs that fit our cars best are 4x the price of the Nismo studs.)

I would recommend that monkey to learn about what he is doing.

I see how you guys do it **** it up and blame it on the product and not on the monkey....

I was at a place called the Z shop and thats all we used and we never had them break. **** I see people twist off stock bolts all the time but does that mean they suck to.

If I drop a cam shaft on the ground and it breaks does that mean the cam is bad or I need to take responsibility for my own actions.

So you would recommend it. Got it.

On a side note, no one complains about stock studs. Yah you can break them, but the people complaining about the Nismo studs aren't complaining about stock studs. They do just fine with stock. So the stock studs also can handle monkey-ing.

If I put them on my car, I sure as hell would recommend them, but I see you got it, so no need to make you get it.
