Intake Manifold?

Should be pretty straight forward, disconnect everything that is connected to the manifold, EGR included. Remove bolts, remove the manifold. Clean some oil out of the intake plenum, put the JDM one on, don't forget the gaskets, bolt it up and connect all the hoses back together.

Nothing hard, just painful. Depending on how experienced you are, it will take 1-3 hours. With engine out of the car much faster.

first and foremost.. your not gonna be able to keep your EGR an will not pass insepctions in some states..

it is very easy just swap the runners...

Why are you swapping manifolds? If you just want to get rid of EGR, you should use a blockoff plate.

Quoted for truth. If this is a hi-port engine, you can just switch the runners out. No need to remove the EGR etc. If you do the whole manifold there are vacuum lines, EGR, and coolant passages to contend with.

okay doing the jdm intake to eliminate the egr etc and then doing headers (don't want to screw around with the crappy egr tube fitting on the ssac headers etc. Jdm is cleaner looking the the block off plate plus no one had it at the time and nissport was taking forever to ship etc. I am just switching out the top part (eliminate the egr) not the bottom (plenum I believe) thanks

the fittin for egr off the header can be welded shut using the stock egr tube cut off.
