Thread: Recieved my NX exhaust from Overkill (OEM)

i just orderd my setup today, i went with a similar muffler, but mine is centerd inlet outlet and is 4x9 with 18" body, im guessin thats a 5x8 14" ???? looks good either way.. im not sure i will have a tip put on mine.. mine just have the exhaust guy put a little extra pipe on there so it clears the bumper then paint it black, i too must avoid the po po, hence having a cat., resonator and muffler lol not to mention u cant beat the sound of these systems, magnaflow ftw

you do know that adding a larger diameter tip at the end of an exhaust deepens the sound. That is why Magnaflow and most companies have at least a 4" tip on the back.

If you offered this muffler,I would be the first to buy a kit to bolt on .I already have the muffler to test fit,so lets get going...hehe
I personally think the magnaflows are too loud and flashy

well maybe i will get a tip, still gunna paint it black tho, incognito.

I guess that would explain why my STi Muffler has a 3-4" tip when the rest of the muffler is 2.5".

I guess now I won't be cutting off that tip, if I do it might make the car sound like crap again

Can you fit an 18" on an NX? I'd like one if thats true. Let's see how it fits then go from there. I still think it will fit good.

Yes we can do a 14 or 18" resonator on the NX.

idk but my b13 se-r muffler is approx 18"
