Wow, I wish I could find that rate around here. Whose **** did you suck?

You guys would crap if you saw dyno rates around here. We are talking $30 to strap the car down, then $10 a pull after that. Dynojet rent rates are a ludicrous $100/hr, with a big discount over 4 hrs. I think the last dyno session we had the guys were happy to pay $275 for 4 hours!

I seem to remember a shop in NH asking $200/hr to tune. However, that's not renting a dyno, that's renting a dyno and a person.

If not giving any HP I'm pretty sure it made my turbo spool up faster.

The guy is local and probably doesn't get TOO much business because I can't see people being able to shell out $100 to dyno and tune or $75 for 3 pulls.

At first when I talked to him he said about an hour, but when I called yesterday to confirm he said about two hours. So hopefully I will spend about 30 min testing these devices, and the next hour and a half tuning

I don't want to tell you guys what I pay to use the dyno.

It helps that I set everything up and run it as well though.

$60 for three pulls is not bad. A full complete tune of a standalone costs $400 and that includes the dyno time and person.

I don't think that is bad at all. $100/hr is an amazing deal for full rental of a dynojet with unlimited pulls. We played with a Mazda protege turbo for 200 pulls in 2 hrs, the guy was insanely happy with what he got.

Or you can just go on a dyno day. 10+ people is only $40 for 3 pulls. I consider this a good price...

Or you can come to the Utahnissans dyno day and pay $40 for 3 pulls, a tee shirt, some raffle tickets to win prizes... Best deal of the year. I go for the dyno, but I love my tshirts. lol.

Now the thing is, they were at the car show last week, and it was a Dyno day deal, yet they still charged $75 but for 2 pulls! I'm sure there was more then 10 people too...
