Dyno Next Week - What to Test?
I'm going to the dyno this Saturday to dyno and tune. I'm planning on dyno testing couple different things while I'm at it

Alright so here is the current agenda...

Baseline
3 pulls base numbers to see what I currently have, warming up the car so that other numbers don't appear too high for the first pulls.

Spark Plug Testing
1 Pull Spark Plugs Not Indexed
1 Pull Spark Plugs Indexed
1 Pull Spark Plugs Indexed and Gaped

I'm planning on going out and picking up two sets of BKR6E's brand new from Napa, now I am running 7E's but I don't need two more sets of 7E's and I can use 6E's in my wife's car

Flow stack Testing - No Filters!
1 Pull with no flow stacks or filters "Open MAF"
1 Pull with JWT Pop Charger
1 Pull with BPi Flow Stack

3bar vs 4bar
Seeing if there is actually power to gain just from switching

The reason I say no filters, because I don't have a regular cone filter, thus to make it fair no filters for all of the above.

If you have any suggestions for what else I can dyno let me know

  • 93 Shell Gas
  • E60 MAF
  • Thermoblok Spacers
  • 2.5" Exhaust to 2.5" STI muffler, no CAT
  • UR Pulleys - 2 Piece
  • BKR7E's Indexed and Side Gaped
  • BPi Flow Stack
  • Calum Real Time ECU
  • Tuning to 12:1 at WOT

V,

I wouldn't think you would see any change in numbers, since you're boosted? (comparing BPi to JWT or whatever filters, pre turbo)

I'm thinking it might not make a difference boosted for flow stacks, but I'm here to prove it to myself and to everyone else haha. Plus if BPi Flow stack shows good numbers, Brian will give me the money back
