I checked Greg V's site and didn't find anything for the throttle body, only the intake manifold itself. Like
@Vadim did, I'm going with a Roller Rocker SR20, and the prior generation intake manifold so that the sensors etc work, plus the HP gain is a bonus. I need the throttle body spaced out just a bit for clearance from the valve cover, since that design changed between generations.
The idea of using a cutting board isn't actually a bad idea. I was even tempted by the oak version mentioned just before that. LOL That might just be the way I'll go here, cheap but effective. I'd need to smooth out the cutting board surface most likely, they tend to be a bit textured.
I'm wondering though if I need any extra gasket type material on the outer sides of this piece so it seals better? RTV sealant possibly, since the mating surfaces are different from stock?
