Thread: cam noise??

ok ive realised that when im driven or parked when i push the gas pedal and my rpm gets 2 like in between 3 or 4 thousand rpm i hear this noise from under the vale cover i think its the cams idk but i think its pretty bad can any one help me out with this???

can you take a video or try to describe it? it could be something as simple as hla's goofing off or it could be rod knock.

yea ille try 2 take a vid but idk it makes that noise not realy loud but its loud lol when i step on it it pulls fine so idk what it could be

well is it loud or not? i'm leaning to rod knock based on the rpm spread you hear it, and it will still feel fine until your rod goes through the block, hehe
